Customer feedback vividly paints the experience: Chelsea Fountain praises the spacious, historic setting and the standout quality across multiple coffee styles; Erin Zoss highlights the friendly service and the delectable blueberry muffin that pairs wonderfully with their expertly crafted lattes. Tatiana Oleynik describes the atmosphere as “warm and welcoming,” treasured for cozy, intimate moments filled with hand-crafted desserts and seasonal specials. While some, like Kevin Rayan, wish for a wider range of pastries and meal options, they acknowledge the café's strength as a focused coffee destination with gelato as a unique bonus.
On the practical side, some patrons note that the service can slow when the café is busy, and parking challenges exist due to its downtown location. Yet these minor quibbles don’t overshadow the overall vibe and quality experience—Brian “CoFii” Adams sums it up well with “a solid spot for a decent cup of coffee” that impresses with hospitality and cleanliness in a cozy, thoughtfully curated space.
Whether you’re chasing the perfect morning espresso, craving a sweet gelato treat, or simply seeking a hip yet inviting atmosphere to work or unwind, The Coffee Scene Prince Charles offers a refreshing, genuine coffee experience that feels both familiar and inspired. It’s a must-visit haven for anyone exploring Fayetteville’s vibrant coffee culture.
I’ve never been to this location but enjoyed it the most out of others in the area. Love the atmosphere and space inside the historic building. We ordered a range of drinks from drip coffee, to cappuccinos, and lattes and had a good experience. Also, we were happy to learn that their coffee is sourced locally from Fayetteville.
I love the atmosphere at the Coffee Scene. Very chill and relaxing. I do wish they had more options and selections of pastries. The latte I had was good but not the best. This place is a cafe so no actual meals served here. They do have few breakfast options and pastries. They also have gelato.
Cute little coffee spot in the downtown area. Service was friendly and accommodating to our requests (use caramel sauce vs caramel syrup for our lattes). Both lattes were very good and the blueberry muffin deserves 4.5 stars according to my husband. The atmosphere is fun with dark walls, dramatic windows, modern lighting, and bold seating colors.
A very cozy and charming coffee shop in Fayetteville, in the Prince Charles hotel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax. They offer a good selection of coffee drinks, including a special Christmas menu, which was a nice seasonal touch. The dessert selection is small but quite good, and the fact that many items are made in-house really adds a unique touch to the café. It was especially pleasant to spend Christmas morning here, particularly since many other places were closed during the holidays. The server was very polite, attentive, and kind, which made the experience even better. The only downside was that the cappuccino was served without foam, which was a bit disappointing Other than that, it was a wonderful visit, and I would gladly come back!
Pro: - clean - cosy - good selection of coffee and eating items - coffee grounds used - Hospitality Con: - slow service if more than 2 customers ( - Price - parking and location are not ideal - feels very hipster (but I have noticed that is the vibe with this chain/ this might be someone's pro instead of a con) Overall it is a solid spot for a decent cup of coffee. Service was good and personable.
This coffee shop is absolutely adorable. It's within a historic hotels of America landmark building. It's also right across the street from the Fayetteville Police department where they had activities going for you to watch. A very safe, clean environment. Coffee was great. I didn't have any food but I did have a muffin that was very good.
